Most draconic legends are explainable as distortions or fanciful extrapolations of actual Shaded animals, such as tricorns.
Terrimoirine legend has large pseudoreptilian animals, which those from other worlds would recognise as dragons, with varying roles and characteristics. (See Animals in Terrimoirine folk stories.)
For example, dragons are supposed to be able to cure unicorn poison.
Nordgelert regions have folk tales about huge scaled animals - tales that may or may not be based in fact, since ijsdrakons are hardly ever seen by anyone.
