Mir

Mir is a Muttly title, used as a gender-neutral equivalent of Miss or Mr.

It is pronounced like "mead" if you have the knack of making the D sound halfway like an R. Otherwise, just say "meer".

The word is not related to the Russian space station, though notably, as a Russian word it can mean either "peace" or "world". Either might be said to be appropriate when invoking Mutt's name.

'Mir' is not to be confused with 'zir?'.
