The title and position of the
High Librarian is a very powerful and old one.
The sole head of the greatest library in all of
Arken - the library of the
Tiédo Academy - holds great political power in addition to being the master, and guardian, of a great wealth of information. Such things as material wealth are additional perks... not to mention that every High Librarian in the history has possessed certain, if not even great skill in magic.
In other words, don't fuck with the librarian.
