Monach, also known as Earwig, is a character from the Scavenger Trilogy by K.J. Parker.

He is a "sword-monk" in a quasi-religious order possibly inspired by the [Latvian Sword Brethren]. (The nickname "Monach" is said in the book to be a foreign-language word for "monk".)

His character was one of the bases for Mutt's Weft.
