Inhabitants of a Far-South island group (in VŠnan
Isles) in Arken
, the spider-folk
are more of a tall tale than truth to the dwellers of the mainland. Before the appearance of Sšn Kundera, the spider-folk were nothing but a legend, something told by old wizards or sunstroked sailors; she was the first of her kind in hundreds of years (or maybe, the first ever) to sail from the Far-South and present herself to human eyes.
Spider-folk are more than just vaguely human. Their base anatomy is the same, the main difference being two extra pairs of arms and the overall disproportion of their bodies. With eight long limbs, they do resemble spiders crudely, and thus gained their name in legends.
