From Swansong: "The singular word "anarde", used like the word "human", is a human abbreviation of the Old Daren word "anardaeren" that translates into "sibling tribes[genderless noun]"."

Refers to a member of a non-human race. A Caedaren is an anarde, and the Caedaren as a whole are a tribe of anardes. Naturally, there are other tribes, such as the Yiadaren? and the Sheadaren?.
