Bounce-resurrection or bounce-resuscitation constitutes an instantaneous reversal of death within specially marked areas.
It is handy when Finns and bishies are around.
The mechanics of bounce-resurrection depend on your view of the universe (and possibly the method of death). Either the soul is 'catapulted' back into the body, or there is an elastic-like reversal and warping of time.
