Buttercup Plains

The Buttercup Plains are a hotly-disputed area of land on Shade. Their political history is not peaceful or straightforward, and many groups and factions have vied for control of the land or its economy.

Currently the end stages of a nasty battle for control of the area are being played out. It's complicated (aka Mutt hasn't finalised any details). 'Freedom fighters' (guerillas) calling themselves the Ebcedict Set are known to be involved in opposing a particularly noxious oppressive or totalitarian regime.
