The world.

It doesn't have a name. Not an agreed upon one.

The people residing on the southernmost range call it Laerdasht. The stubby fingered fishers of the northwest gulf call it Tethis, though they might be just referring to the gulf. They are not the subject of this discourse.

The ones I am involved with don't name such things, or if they do, it's for a lark. They're on the practical side, all things considered. Poetry is a weapon and religion is food.
