Borean

Borean ethnicity humans are native to the northern regions of Shade as Nordies are not. They cohabit peacefully (because Nordies don't compete for their food, preferring to import, and often employ them besides).

Borean humans are relatively short and squat and have thick hair and deep-set eyes. They dress very warmly and don't venture outside when unnecessary, tending to be very practical and organised.

Borean humans do not seem to have many spiritual beliefs, although they hold many superstitions (such as folk rumours of huge scaled monsters, which are patently ridiculous).
