Dragon (Larkspur)

Dragons of Larkspur are similar to the generic dragons of medieval stories. They are huge venomous lizards that frequently make nuisances of themselves, poisoning water sources and eating people.

They are not intelligent in a sapient sense, rather cunning in the manner of a large-brained predatory animal. For example, they are quite capable of understanding when a village brings them tribute and sacrifices and leaving the deliverypeople alive, as well as keeping time well enough to kick up an almighty fuss if a delivery is late.

Knights are often tasked with killing them.

A dragon is quite hard to kill.
