Twine Encyclopaedia: Green

Green is one of Mutt's characters: a docile, innocent and trusting green dragon.

1. Character

Green is seen to be docile and utterly trusting, and seems to have the symptoms of the 'innocent'? syndrome. She is likely to be mistaken for a child in draconic terms. Her survival instincts are patchy (e.g. she can sometimes swim well, sometimes sinks unconcernedly) and she seems to lack most or all learned survival behaviours typical to her species.

Green has little or no memory dating back more than a few years. However, her recent memory is normal and she remembers accurately, and believes, everything she is told. She shows a child's powerful curiosity but can be deflected from a course of relentless questioning if told off firmly enough.

Mindreaders will not find any information from the disaster zone that is Green's head. (Your character's welcome to try, but they automatically fail.) The damage isn't fixable.

2. Appearance

Standard adult green dragon, four-legged, scaled, winged, with tail, clawed feet and somewhat horselike head.

Green's age is hard to determine because of her species' physiology and her behaviour. The teeth are sharp and seem in good condition. The claws are businesslike. The tail is thick and sturdy. In size she is 1.9m (6'6") to the shoulder, like [this umaa].

Green's scales feel like any of her species'.

Green has an eye condition affecting the filaments in the ocular humour (assume somewhat different anatomy from human eye), giving her what appear to be matte gold eyes with no visible pupils. This is not normal, although the cause hasn't been definitively stated. It may or may not be significant that several races across the galaxy refer to such conditions as 'the mark of the gods', a punishment.

3. Abilities

Green can fly and doesn't know it. She cannot breathe fire and doesn't know this either. She has not been seen fighting, but she certainly looks impressive. Nothing is known about any possible magical ability.

4. Backstory

Green has an incredibly dramatic history involving gods, revolutions, illegal herbs and a lot of umaa.
