Ijsdrakon

Ijsdrakon, ice dragons, are the largest (pseudo)reptilian species on Shade. They are written by Mutt.

Ijsdrakon have very strong magics. These are immensely hard to learn.

The word ijsdrakon is nothing more clever than two similar-sounding synonyms for "ice" and "dragon". It's pronounced ICE-dra-konn.

The ijsdrakon language is ijsdraken (ice-DRAH-ken). They have a system of symbols partway between rune and glyph, but do not tend to engage in physical writing.

Ijsdrakon and ijsdraken are interworld common words - borrowed from random other languages, true, but they are the accepted terminology. Ijsdraken words for their species, language or anything else are not generally known.
