Hex is a story written by Wyldsong and Mutt. The main characters are Helmine and Siri.
It is set on Shade, somewhere in eastern Terrimoire, in a feraisai-human area.
A crisp first winter in an area of roughly mid-European climate. The surroundings feature areas of primary and secondary forest of mixed species interspersed with plantations, typical of the usual eastern Timoirine ferais slash-and-burn agriculture. Wildlife is typical. The two named villages have been Versham (pron. "vairum"), where both Siri and Helmine have just come from, and Monais (as French "monnaie"), towards which they were heading at the beginning of the story.
