Bede is a joke character of
Mutt's. He does not appear in stories. Mutt occasionally claims Bede is des 'daemon' (in the Philip Pullman, Northern Lights sense) or 'muse' (in the
Mews-verse sense). Bede resembles a red panda -
Ailurus fulgens styani, to be precise.
Mutt makes pictures of him.
