Anke's head (metaphorically speaking). It is rather undefined becase Anke has not found the time to research history for ideas to make it not too bloody generic.

Relations and halfbreeds
Orcs and goblins share the trait that the fifth finger of their hands is very nearly an opposable thumb. They also can interbreed, albeit it is not known if those offspring can be fertile or not.
Some scholars have suggested dwarves are more distant relatives, since the construction of their hands is somewhat similar, but claims in that direction are rare. Dwarves discourage them vehemently.
Elves, trolls and satyrs are thought to be descendants of fae. Their most obvious common trait are the four-fingered hands. It also seems that they can produce fertile offspring with just about any species.

- Sylvie hails from an island-city-state with a slightly Greco-Roman inspired flair. Eodea has no dragons, so she must have picked up Ayu-Asra elsewhere.
