Sapient

This article lists and briefly describes sapient species. Please do suggest a better title than race. (Not "species", 'cause too generic, and I have a grudge against using "people". If nothing better I'll use the IWC word for 'sapient species', but I'd prefer a clear, unloaded English term.)

What's this about "sapient"? I doubt very strongly Sv Iceht's sapience -Wft

"Sapients"? Why not "sapient species"? -Anke

I do like those, either of 'em, but I wonder if "sapient" is easily understandable enough (and, y'know, not too insulting to dogs and horses!) to put on the front page next to "World" and "Magic" etc. -M

I suspect it's easier to understand than the IWC word for "sapient species". ;) -Anke
